For more than 25 years, since Hixny emerged from a conversation among healthcare payers and providers in New York's Capital Region, we've been leading the way toward a more connected healthcare environment.
One question guides us: How can we make the right next step the easy step for a provider, payer, population health analyst, or public health department?
The answers have led us to solve a HIPAA challenge, build a health information exchange, develop a celebrated SMART on FHIR interface, contribute to statewide COVID pandemic analysis, explore opioid risk prediction modeling, and share our solutions nationally.

Hixny is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit guided by a dedicated staff and a deeply invested board of industry stakeholders. Our financial audits are available for review at our office; please contact us to schedule an appointment.
As a New York State qualified entity, Hixny is a member of the Statewide Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY), along with our peers across the state. This relationship allows anyone using Hixny solutions to access the full breadth of data shared through the SHIN-NY.
Meet the Board
Hixny's directors fill seats representing healthcare providers, payers, educators, patients and related stakeholder groups, ensure a free flow of information from members, users, and the public. We also periodically survey all stakeholders to inform decision-making.
